I needed a small storage cabinet when fixing up my kitchen. After searching around, this was the best I could find for the price and size. I like that it is a nice, deep grey as it complements the light grey-blue wall color and stainless appliances nicely. The rest of the cabinets are white, but I set this on a far wall with no other cabinetry and it is a perfect touch!
The product arrived in two very heavy boxes. Thankfully, I was at home when UPS delivered it so the very kind driver could bring it right into the house for me. The stainless top is boxed separately, and I got the impression that you could also have chosen a butcher-board type top although I did not see that option on Amazon. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, particularly when piecing together the framing around the drawers. I made more than a few mistakes assembling this area of the cabinet, once having to remove the top and turn a piece around. In doing this, I snapped a piece holding the stainless top down and didn't have the patience to do it again when I discovered one of the front pieces was also backwards, showing the screws. My fault, and something I should have realized after years of assembling Ikea-type furniture, which this is very much like (only heavier). This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Once assembled, it is quite nice and sturdy. One thing, it is not sturdy at all until you put in the 10 or so small screws across the back, one row across the top and one across the bottom. I noticed after I did this that it not only shored it right up, but that the bottom row of screws is keenly visible when the cabinet is opened! And sharp! I know for certain that they are in the correct place, so I'm not sure why this happened. Luckily, I have no small children and am only storing cast iron pans in the bottom of the cabinet so it's not an issue, but something to look out for. In all, it took me about an hour and a half to assemble. As it is heavy, I highly recommend assembling it close to where it will be placed. I wasn't strong enough to carry it, so I had to drag in on a towel across the hardwoods to the kitchen.
