The photo of the product isn't very good. Fortunately, the color turned out to be exactly what I wanted-- a gorgeous, true "peacock blue" color. It's like a perfect dark teal-- not too blue, not too green, not too bright, but just vibrant enough to see it across the room and think, "Wow! I LOVE that color!". The bench itself seems pretty well made. There is a bit of puckering at the corners on the top, but it's minor enough that I won't exchange it. I think it's a good value for the price. I took away one star for the tapered legs-- it's maddening to not only figure out which one goes in which corner, but also to start screwing them in at the right point so they end up tight and in the right position. The instructions say to align the dot stickers on the bottom towards the inside, but they still don't look right. I've screwed and unscrewed the legs about 15 times already--I hope to figure it out eventually. The amount of storage inside isn't vast, but it's certainly enough to be useful (for storing some extra linens or whatever.) Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase, as it's perfect for the space I wanted to fill and again, the color is gorgeous!
