I bought 2 of these tables to go along each side of my couch. It's really not a brown finish, more of a reddish-orange color. It's really not chestnut like the description says, probably better described as cherry. It's a shame because it is a beautiful table and the price is great, but the color in the on-line picture is very deceiving. I was very disappointed. Other than the color though, no other issues.
