Thickness: The description claims its a 4-inch pad. It is. However, the height of the "fingers" is 4 inches, meaning there's really no significant solid layer of foam at the bottom. The result is that bumpy egg-crate feeling, but little in the way if support. Personally, I would have liked at least an inch of solid foam at the bottom like other foam pads have.
Density: Not sure what the density rating is supposed to be, but it is gel foam and seems somewhere between cheap store-bought non-gel foam and expensive memory foam.
Temperature: This pad does hold in heat that you can definitely feel.
Overall: I'd like to have a different pad, considering I spent nearly $200 on this one and am no more happy with it than I would have been with a $50 one from Target. I can't recommend this one.
