First for the price you really can't go wrong. It would be a good "working set" for just about anyone.

Pros-
Cost, you really cant get a single pot for the price on Amazon for this set.

Cons -

The large stock pot doesn't seem to be as thick or heavy duty as the other pots/pans.

Lids are kind of thin, I would think the might get banged up some.

Long ship time from amazon approximately 2+ weeks. They tell you that up front.

Overall - Again I'm trying to be fair, if your expecting some show pieces for you kitchen to display these probably aren't for you. If you want a nice working set of pots and pans you can't beat these for the price.

Update 12/08- Since my review the price doubled on the Nordic Ware set. What was a great deal at $50 is just so-so at $100ish. Still a decent set, just not sure you couldn't piece together something else for the price range.

Pfister R89-8CBE Avalon Tub and Shower (Trim) Rustic Pewter Review

Decided to change-up the bathroom with some new fixtures. This kit (which contains everything for the shower except the drain strainer and trip lever) was very easy to install for a novice like me - in fact, this was my first attempt at swapping shower hardware and it was a very straightforward and relatively easy process. The finish is listed as pewter and it matches my other pewter fixtures. My only complaint, and it is a relatively minor one, is that the quality of the materials (shower handle, shower head, tub spout) is noticeably inferior to the prior Price Pfister shower hardware that I replaced. By that I mean these new fixtures are not nearly as heavy and almost have a plastic feel to them. Nonetheless, they look good and have performed well so far (4 months in). I would buy them again, but I was a bit surprised by their overall light feel - unfortunately the build quality just ain't what it used to be. If for some reason you are particularly hard on your shower fixtures, you may want to get a feel of them in person before deciding if they are right for you.

Several months ago I ordered the round Staub 4 qt. pot with 4 mini ceramic cocottes for myself in green, and I use the 4 qt. pot several times a week. I bake bread in it and get an even, luscious crust every time. I use it for stews and soups and pasta sauces. I wash the pot by hand, dry it immediately and put it away to avoid an accident; however, the enamel is thick and even. The textured, black enamel interior is easy to clean, as is the exterior. The bottom heats evenly without spots sticking and scorching. The heavy mass of the pot allows me to turn down the heat and maintain an even cooking temperature on the stovetop. It's a versatile size and shape and I love the color. When I saw what a wonderful quality this pot was, I ordered a set in blue for my daughter, who is delighted with them. I also ordered a larger round pot for my son and a larger oval one for me for roasting chicken and other meats. If you want an easy to clean cast iron pot that you will use over and over and that will retain its enamel finish, then Staub is the one for you.
