Pendleton Over-All Matelasse Sage Queen Coverlet Review

Last year, I ordered a Williamsburg Matelasse coverlet. It was so soft and an ample size - has not shrunk much through many washings. One reason I love matelasse is that my beloved dalmatian sleeps with me and I need to be able to wash it often. Unfortunately, she caught her toenail in the coverlet and tore a large hole in the top part.

So, I planned to buy another just like it, but could not find it again in my color. I did however find the Pendleton. I think it may prove more puppy-proof than the Williamsburg. The weave seems tighter. I love the color and the pattern. I have not yet washed it, but it is currently an ample size. So even with a little shrinkage, it should fit nicely.

I have purchased Pendleton clothing before, but not bedding.

So far, I am very pleased.

i had bought 2 riedel glasses and one riedel decanter at bed bath and beyond, granted they were the next level up from the "vinum," but they cost more than $300. when i found this set on amazon, i quickly returned the others to BBB. the decanter is very lightweight, which makes pouring wine while tipsy a lot safer. it is a basic design, but gets the job done. and now i can entertain a crowd with my 6 glasses, for the same price i almost paid for 2. only a wine glass expert would have a problem with these glasses.

I bought this product about a year ago. It looks as advertised and seemed of excellent quality. However, just about 2 weeks ago, the handle of one of the mugs fell off. I thought that might just be a rare occurrence, until a second and a third fell off in exactly the same manner. The plates are good, since they have no handles. To say the least, I am extremely disappointed in the workmanship.
