This is a solid wood watch display box with glass top and fine finish. It looks good and clearly the build quality is well above the asking price. And while you can find watch boxes everywhere, ones that are solid wood, use real glass, and are not cheaply made are very difficult to find. This was professionally packed and arrived safely. The finish is beautiful, the triple hinged top is smooth, the interior watch holders are sturdy AND they fit snugly in the tray. There's even a place for pens and rings in the front of the top tray - a bonus!

Some things to note which should not deter you from purchase ...
• Finish is quite "aromatic" out of the box. Not for chemically sensitive folk unless aired out.
• Bottom drawer has a knob on the front of it - not pictured in the listing.
• Top is stated as "stay open" which it does when fully open. It does not have soft-close hinges.
• Slight gap in front between lid and box when closed. This must be by design as the lock still functions.
